Life can be full of stressors and obligations. As women, we can get so caught up in caring for others that we lose sight of our own dreams, hopes, and intentions. We may long for those days when we were full of energy and exuberance about what our futures might hold.

 The Blossoming Joy Retreat will provide you with the opportunity to reflect with on your own intentions and focus on creating a purposeful path for your life. During this retreat, you will be provided a safe space within a community of women to re-connect with your inner power and strength, re-invest in yourself and create a meaningful intention toward your life’s purpose.

Spring is a time for renewal and growth. Now is the time to plant the seeds for  your own personal renewal and care. The Blossoming Joy retreat will be held on May 15th-17th at the beautiful Nazareth Retreat Center in Bardstown, KY. Spots are limited; registration closes on May 1, 2020.

Kimberly LaFollette, Psy.D.

Kimberly believes that the key to a joyful life is living with purpose and intent. She has been a passionate pursuer of her own joy by engaging in professional and personal endeavors that allow her to pursue her greater purpose as an educator and helper.

As a psychologist and certified mental health integrative medicine provider, Kimberly has a strong belief that all individuals are capable of living full, authentic joyful lives. She believes that for many people, mental and physical health can be achieved naturally.

Kimberly is also passionate about women’s issues and is constantly impressed with the strength and resilence of women. She understands that there is nothing more powerful than women who unite for the betterment of themselves and the world. She wholeheartedly believes that there is no greater vehicle for personal or global change than a group of determined women!

Tammy Hatfield, Psy.D.

Tammy is passionate about creating an inclusive safe space for all women to explore hopes, dreams, and possibilities. She has witnessed, personally and professionally, that lives can be profoundly altered when women bond together and lift each other up. Tammy believes it is through BEING present and connecting with oneself and each other that we can feel truly energized to live our best lives. She views this connection as providing a meaningful opportunity for women to heal, grow, transform, and live to our full potential.

Professionally, she has developed and facilitated numerous retreats over the past 20 years and frequently presents at conferences and workshops on topics including intersectional feminism, diversity and inclusion, body image, and advocacy. She earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and is licensed as a psychologist in the state of Kentucky. Her chosen career path has provided her the opportunity to work in women’s center, community mental health, private practice, and academe. Currently, she is a full-time professor training graduate students in counseling and psychology while maintaining a part-time private practice.
